Cooperation with KRAV

KRAV is the most important organic certifier and organic label in Sweden and the Scandinavian market in general. KRAV is IFOAM accredited.
IMO and KRAV have signed a cooperation agreement for international inspection and certification. Therefore IMO certified operators can easily apply for KRAV certification through IMO. Based on the IMO inspection and EU-certification, KRAV issues the additional KRAV certificate.

Certification requirements
KRAV standards are very elaborate and good to read. The requirements are in many aspects equivalent to Regulation (EU) 834/2007 and 889/2008, but there are some important differences.

Certification procedures
Operators can apply for KRAV certification through IMO or by contacting KRAV directly.
If you are already IMO certified, please simply inform your IMO office that you now wish to have also KRAV certification. There will be an additional charge for this additional certification and you will need to sign a contract with KRAV.
The addtional KRAV requirements are checked in the annual inspection and your certification report will be forwarded to KRAV for additional KRAV certification. You wil receive from KRAV the certificate and invoice for their services, all other communication through the year can be done through your IMO office.
