IMO is offering its expertise in quality assurance for organic and sustainable products in various fields.

At present our main fields of expert activities are:

• Development of local inspection & certification capacity
• Smallholder group certification and Internal Control Systems for organic as well as UTZ CERTIFIED certification
• Fairtrade and Social Quality Assurance Systems
• Expert for organic certification in publications, at conferences, for development projects, etc.
• Sustainable Aquaculture Quality Assurance certification of various standards, analyses and procedures
• Wild Collection: Sustainable collection measures, resource assessement, management systems 
• GLOBALGAP and UTZ CERTIFIED:  training in certification requirements, especially  in developing countries
• Eco-tourism with a pilot project in Türkiye
• WorldTrace and WorldCert: online traceability and certification system for international trade and transparency
• Organic Textile: chemical analyses and standard development

Our expertise has been proven in various projects funded by organizations like SIPPO, SECO, IFOAM, UNCTAD, ITC, Swisscontact, GTZ, etc.
