The IMO Group Mission Statement

Our vision
We are the internationally recognised, leading institute for certification and quality control of ecological products in the sectors food, non-food and social accountability. We are worldwide opinion leader because of our high expectations towards ourselves as well as towards our clients and partners. We are in all markets the preferred partner for our clients and opt for sustainable and ethical behaviour in all our activities.

  • We offer everything out of one hand and are world-wide the only partner for all requirements of our clients
 
Our Mission
We ensure global market access for eco-friendly products by conducting certification and quality control in a reliable and consequent way and according to the requirements and conditions of the standard competent authorities.

  • We support our clients in their requests and projects
  • We continuously train our inspectors and certification personnel

Our Aims
Our target is to implement our vision. In order to reach this aim, we make optimal use of the core competences of our staff in order to offer our clients all required services out of one hand.
  • We establish a partnership relation with our customers and put them in the center of all our activities. We offer readymade services for a fair price. Best service and friendlyness is of highest priority to us
  • We develop a specific and unique corporate identity for the IMO Group world-wide.
  • We accredit our local offices.
  • We assure human resources by evaluating and selecting staff or partners in each country, which them train and continuously harmonise in their performance
  • We develop a concept of information supply according to the needs of our cli-ents, partners, the authorities and institutions and assure PR and lobbying activities.
  • We develop in-group competence centres (e.g. for poultry, analysis, off-farm-input-verification and certification, honey, import authorisations, flavours, GMO, etc.)
  • We develop communication tools for optimal internal communication within the IMO Group (Intranet, WINDOKU, Internet, Data base, etc.).
  • We establish profitability analysis for each area and, based on the respective re-sults elaborate consequent action plans
  • We establish sorted controlling for in-group quality assurance in all group struc-tures
  • We cooperate with other certification bodies, in order to assure the high quality of our work by training, exchange of knowledge and publications.
  • We offer different certifications in one hand (HACCP, GLOBALGAP, Q+S, KAT, etc.).
  • We are interacting with organisations active in the field of development cooperation.
