IMO offers certification according to Regulation (EC) N° 834/2007 for organic production as well as the USDA National Organic Program (NOP) and the Japanese Agricultural Standard (JAS). IMO also offers certification the IVN and GOTS Standards for natural textiles or FSC principles for sustainable forestry, but also co-operates with any existing label schemes on the market as per need of the customer. IMO is closely co-operating with the popular private label Naturland (IFOAM accredited) and conducts Naturland inspections world-wide.

The range of operations reaches from small organisations to large plantations, smallholder organisations and also includes collection of wild products and traditional production systems. In the field of agriculture, IMO is certifying all types of agricultural products, from traditional produce such as coffee, tea, spices, cocoa, nuts, fruits, vegetables, cereals or pulses to cotton, dairy products, honey or fish & seafood. This also includes all types of food processing, product manufacturing and international trading activities.
