It can draw on experience in the field of organic agriculture for more than 20 years and is also renowned in the sectors of natural textiles, sustainable forestry and social accountability.
- IMO is accredited by the Swiss Accreditation Service (SAS) according to the norms EN 45004 and EN 45011/ISO 65 for its international activities as inspection and certification agency.
- IMO is accredited as an inspection and certification agency according to the EU Regulation (EC) N° 834/2007 and (EC) N° 889/2008 in Germany as well as in Italy (Südtirol) and in Spain (Aragon).
- IMO is accredited as an internationally active inspection and certification agency according to the
National Organic Program (NOP) of the United States (USDA).
- IMO is accredited as an internationally active inspection and certification agency according to the
Japanese Agricultural Standard (JAS) of the Japanese Ministry of Agriculture (MAFF) .
